What RepStack saves
This policy covers the RepStack website, installed app, and optional ChatGPT plugin. RepStack uses your information to sign you in, save your work, prepare reports, and help with problems.
- Your account: email, sign-in information, profile details you provide, and the terms version and acceptance time submitted with email signup.
- Your workspace: public review text, usernames, links, dates, platforms, product models, review attributes, follow-ups, and pay periods.
- Support: your contact details and anything you send when asking for help.
Your account email is for signing in, identifying your connected account, and account support. RepStack does not ask for customer email addresses or phone numbers. Please leave those and other confidential information out of pasted tickets, reviews, and saved records.
Where your information goes
Your workspace is private to your account, not published or shared with other users. RepStack does not sell your workspace records or use advertising trackers.
Supabase stores cloud records and handles sign-in. Vercel hosts the website. Backblaze stores encrypted backups, and GitHub Actions runs backup and recovery checks. These providers process information to operate RepStack, sometimes outside your state or country.
If you choose to connect RepStack to ChatGPT, Supabase shares your account identity and issues authorization tokens to OpenAI for that connection. You sign in on RepStack; your RepStack password is not sent to ChatGPT.
When you use the plugin, ChatGPT sends RepStack the search or record details needed for your request. RepStack returns matching follow-ups and reviews, workspace lists, or save results from your connected account to ChatGPT. These may include customer names, review text, links, ticket numbers, product models, dates, and review attributes. This exchange lets you find, create, convert, and edit your records from ChatGPT.
Content you paste into ChatGPT and information returned to it are also handled by OpenAI under its privacy policy and the settings available for your ChatGPT account. The plugin is optional; you can use RepStack without connecting it.
Information may also be shared when legally required or needed to address fraud, misuse, or security problems. External review and ticket links have their own privacy policies.
On your device
Browser storage keeps preferences and sign-in state. Password sign-in lasts for the session by default. “Keep me signed in on this device” saves a sign-in token in that browser so you can return without signing in again; it does not save your password.
Signing out removes the saved session. Clearing browser site data also removes preferences and any browser-only records. Older local records stay separate from cloud records until imported.
Generated report tables and compensation results are temporary and are not saved to cloud or browser storage. The review records behind them stay saved. Account backups you download stay wherever you save the file and do not include compensation data or login credentials.
Keeping things running
Hosting and sign-in providers keep technical logs, such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and errors. RepStack also records action types, success or failure, and timing to check reliability, without review text or compensation results.
To investigate missing or moved records, RepStack keeps a protected history of review and pay-period changes. It records account and record IDs, when changes happened, which fields changed, and previous and new period assignments, dates, and status. It does not copy review text or customer details. This history stays until the account is deleted.
When enabled, Sentry helps diagnose errors. RepStack filters out user details, request content, cookies, URL query details, and common sensitive text. Some personal information may still appear in technical logs.
Your choices
You can edit or delete records and export a copy in settings. Records stay saved until deleted, though follow-ups also expire under the app’s expiration rules. Deleted information may remain in protected backups until those expire or are removed. Technical logs and support messages may be kept to resolve problems and protect the service.
You can disconnect RepStack in ChatGPT. Contact support if you need help revoking the connection’s authorization in RepStack. Revocation stops new access tokens from being issued; previously issued access tokens may remain valid until they expire. Disconnecting or revoking access does not delete your saved RepStack records or information already sent to OpenAI. Manage your ChatGPT history and data separately using OpenAI’s controls.
For access, corrections, or account deletion, email support@repstack.reviews. We may ask you to confirm you own the account. Uninstalling the app does not delete cloud records.
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes and let you know about important changes to how personal information is used.
